UGS Rehden – Marketing of Capacities for Storage Year 2026/2027

[Kassel, 27 October 2025] Starting on the 30 October 2025 SEFE Storage GmbH will offer part of its previously unmarketed storage capacity for the Rehden storage facility for the storage year 2026/2027 in several auction procedures on the PRISMA capacity platform.

The respective auction date and the number of bundles offered will be communicated to all companies already registered on PRISMA and approved by SEFE Storage 24 hours in advance.

Due to current market conditions, the storage product has an additional interruptible injection rate, which is offered within the following bundle structure:

Product term: 01/04/2026–01/04/2027

• firm working gas volume: 111,690,770 kWh
• firm injection rate: 36,731 kWh/h
• interruptible injection rate: 36,731 kWh/h
• firm withdrawal rate: 56,510 kWh/h

Product term: 01/04/2027–01/06/2027

• interruptible working gas volume: 11,169,077 kWh
• interruptible withdrawal capacity: 9,900 kWh/h

As a result of the ordinance (GasSpFüllstV) issued by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) on 6 May 2025, a filling level requirement of 45% applies to the Rehden storage facility on the 1st of November, while the requirement for the 1st of February remains at 30%.

No variable fee is charged for the storage product. The technical and applicable injection and withdrawal curves shall be considered.

Interruptible injection and withdrawal rates can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis on PRISMA, to ensure further flexibility.

Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline. The information relevant for the storage product can be found on the homepage www.sefe-storage.de under the section “auction products”.
