UGS Jemgum – Marketing of capacities for the storage year 2026/2027

[Kassel, 10 November 2025] Starting on 13 November 2025 SEFE Storage GmbH will offer part of its previously unmarketed storage capacity for the Jemgum storage facility for the storage year 2026/2027 in several auction procedures on the PRISMA capacity platform.

The respective auction date and the number of bundles offered will be communicated to all companies already registered on PRISMA and approved by SEFE Storage 24 hours in advance.

The offered working gas volume of 2.7 TWh in total will be marketed flexibly as part of the respective auction on the basis of the following product structures:

• Jemgum SY26/27 – 0.3 TWh: bundle with a working gas volume of 77,500,000 kWh, each bundle includes a firm injection rate of 51,150 kWh/h and a firm withdrawal rate of 77,500 kWh/h.
• Jemgum SY26/27 – 2.4 TWh: bundle with a working gas volume of 77,992,054 kWh, each bundle includes a firm injection rate of 73,025 kWh/h and a firm withdrawal rate of 117,365 kWh/h. 

No variable fee is charged for the storage product. The technical and applicable injection and withdrawal curves shall be considered.

Interruptible injection and withdrawal rates can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis on PRISMA, to ensure further flexibility.

Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline. The information relevant for the storage product can be found on the homepage www.sefe-storage.de under auction products.
