UGS Haidach – Marketing of capacities for the storage year 2026/2027/2028

[Kassel, 7 November 2025] Starting on the 11 November 2025 SEFE Storage GmbH will offer part of its previously unmarketed storage capacity for the Haidach storage facility for the storage year 2026/2027/2028 in several auction procedures on the PRISMA capacity platform.

The respective auction date and the number of bundles offered will be communicated to all companies already registered on PRISMA and approved by SEFE Storage 24 hours in advance.

The offered working gas volume of 7.66 TWh in total will be marketed flexibly as part of the respective auction on the basis of the following product structures:

• Haidach SY26/27/28 (1): term: 01/04/2026–01/04/2028, bundle with a working gas volume of 29,137,652 kWh, each bundle includes a firm injection rate of 15,134 kWh/h and a firm withdrawal rate of 10,324 kWh/h. In addition to that each bundle includes an interruptible withdrawal rate of 3,016 kWh/h.
• Haidach SY27/28 (1): term: 01/04/2027–01/04/2028, bundle with a working gas volume of 37,019,730 kWh, each bundle includes a firm injection rate of 13,136 kWh/h and a firm withdrawal rate of 13,852 kWh/h. In addition to that each bundle includes an interruptible injection rate of 3,814 kWh/h and an interruptible withdrawal rate of 3,097 kWh/h. 

No variable fee is charged for the storage product. The technical and applicable injection and withdrawal curves shall be considered.

Interruptible injection and withdrawal rates can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis on PRISMA, to ensure further flexibility.

Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline. The information relevant for the storage product can be found on the homepage www.sefe-storage.de under auction products.
