UGS Haidach – Marketing of capacities for the storage year 2026/2027

[Kassel, 21 November 2025] On 25 November 2025 SEFE Storage GmbH will offer previously unmarketed storage capacities for the natural gas storage facility in Haidach for the 2026/2027 storage year on the PRISMA capacity platform as part of an auction process.

The offered working gas volume of approx. 0.3 TWh in total will be marketed on the basis of the following product structure:

Haidach SY26/27: bundles of 27,130,912 kWh working gas volume each, with a corresponding firm injection capacity of 8,438 kWh/h and a firm withdrawal capacity of 8,901 kWh/h. In addition, the product has an interruptible injection capacity of 5,600 kWh/h and an interruptible withdrawal capacity of 3,500 kWh/h. 

No variable fee is charged for the storage product. The technical and applicable injection and withdrawal curves shall be considered.

Interruptible injection and withdrawal rates can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis on PRISMA, to ensure further flexibility.

Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline. The information relevant for the storage product can be found on the homepage www.sefe-storage.de under auction products.
