Speicherzone Nord – Marketing of capacities for the storage year 2025/2026

[Kassel, 14 May 2025] SEFE Storage GmbH will offer storage capacities for Speicherzone Nord for the storage year 2025/26 that have not yet been marketed on PRISMA capacity platform as part of an auction process starting on 21 May 2025. 

The offered working gas volume of 0.25 TWh in total will be marketed in the auction on the following product structure:

Speicherzone Nord SY25/26 – 0.25 TWh: bundle with a working gas volume of 50,000,000 kWh, each bundle includes a firm injection capacity of 100,000 kWh/h and a firm withdrawal capacity of 100,000 kWh/h. 

No variable fee will be charged for the storage product. The respective current filling level requirements in Germany apply.

The respective auction date and the number of bundles offered will be communicated 24 hours in advance to all companies already registered on PRISMA and verified by SEFE Storage. Companies that are not yet registered and interested in participating and would like to receive notice are asked to submit a request via PRISMA, taking into account the registration deadline.
