[Kassel, 24 September 2026] Scheduled maintenance work will be carried out at the Rehden gas storage facility from 27 September to 16 October 2026, including annual inspections and necessary repair activities. Where required, these activities may also be carried out during the morning and evening hours. During this period, noise disturbance may occur.

To carry out the work safely, high-pressure systems will need to be depressurised between 27 September and 28 September. During this process, some natural gas will be safely discharged via the facility’s flares and flared off under controlled conditions. On 8 and 9 October and on 15 and 16 October, flare-off activities may also be required. Temporary increases in noise levels may occur, particularly during these activities.
