astora GmbH becomes SEFE Storage GmbH

[Kassel, 3 June 2024] astora GmbH has been renamed SEFE Storage GmbH with effect from 31 May 2024. Last year, astora presented itself for the first time as part of the SEFE brand with a new logo and new corporate design. Now comes the next logical step in the harmonization of the brand and the strategic realignment of SEFE Securing Energy for Europe: astora becomes SEFE Storage.

The change marks a significant milestone for SEFE, as it gradually brings all of the group’s businesses together under one name and identity across Europe. 

The SEFE Group has set itself the goal of playing a key role in the energy market in the long term. The renaming of astora GmbH to SEFE Storage GmbH underlines this ambition.

The aim of the SEFE Group is to secure the energy supply for Germany and Europe and to drive forward the green energy transition. Our storages will certainly make a significant contribution to this”.
